Okay, this is another worlwind blog post! Trying to catch up so this blog I am posting about our trip over the Labor Day weekend to Kiawah, James 2nd birthday, and Cortney's baby shower! Over Labor Day we squeezed in one last trip to the beach! The weather was perfect and we had the best time. Now that Beckett is sitting up, he really had his first beach experience. He played and ate the sand the majority of the time. He loved when the water when come up to him and would splash and splash. Mostly though, he ate the sand! Since we now have 2 kiddos to transport to the beach, and all of our gear, we invested in another trailer. This is Beckett riding it for the first time!
Basking in the sun!
Jackson really likes beach games, and this trip it was horseshoes.
Waiting for the waves!
This tastes salty and delicious!
First time that they actually could play together in the sand. It is so cute to see Jackson interact with Beckett. He is such a sweet big brother!
I think I can get it! As fas as Beckett news, his surgery was a complete success and the pathology came back totally benign! We also had his 9 month check up and we have made it onto the growth chart! All that oatmeal is paying off. I also think we will have a little crawler in a couple of weeks. He is also trying to pull himself up on everything!
Sandy face!
My three boys jumping over the waves!
Every time we go to the beach, I get a picture of Jackson going up the boardwalk. Looking back at them, it is amazing how much he has grown in just 3 short years! He is definately all boy with favorites right now including any kind of superhero, GI Joe, and of course, anything Toy Story! In school he has started Teddy Tennis and really loves it. Every morning before school he asks me if it is tennis day :) Next weekend is our first football game, so we will see if he enjoys that sport as well!
Catching some waves!
After the trip to Kiawah, Noni came home with us to get ready for Cortney's shower. Jackson was so excited that Noni was coming home with us. When I told him that she was he said "How is that possible?" He is so funny! Here is Jackson and Noni rolling the diapers for the diaper cake.
Putting the rubber band on.
I did it!
Next, was sweet James birthday. I can't believe he is 2! Here are the cousins being silly.
Happy 2nd birthday James!
