Happy 37th Birthday Daddy!

Happy 37th Birthday to the most wonderful husband and father in the world! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our special guy! It all started with pizza and cupcakes with friends on Friday night. Saturday night, we went over to the Konop's for a huge football party! They rented a huge screen to watch the Georgia game outside. There was a huge jumpy for the kids, flag football, corn hole, and a chili cookoff! It was a fantastic night and we ended the night with Greg's birthday cake. Finally, on Sunday night, Brad, Kiera, Mary, James and Ben came over to celebrate with Greg's favorite...lamb chops. This was the first time I made lamb chops so I was a little nervouse, but they turned out great! It was the perfect weekend! I can't say enough how blessed I feel to have Greg as a husband and father to our two boys. He is so kind, patient with them. It warms my heart everyday when Jackson hears the garage door opening and runs excitedly to him. I don't know what we would do without him!! We love you daddy!!
Greg's birthday cake. My boys!!

Nanna was generous enough to watch Beckett so that we could enjoy the party. He had so much fun with her!

The big screen for the Georgia/Auburn game!

The tent for the Chili cookoff. Everyone brought so much delicious food!
After the kids had jumped for hours, we busted out the marshmallows for smores!

 Birthday celebration with the family!
Jackson is so funny! Jackson was taking a nap and it was time to wake up, so I walked into his room to wake him up. This is where I found him! All snuggled with his "friends"!
Another shot of my funny little boy! I bought Jackson some new superhero underwear, socks, hat, gloves and some boots. He decided that he had to wear all his new things. He had on 3 pairs of underwear, 3 pairs of socks, hat, gloves, boots and nothing else!
This Sunday was our last football game. This was Jackson's first organized sport and he really loved it! Here he is getting his trophy. He was so proud of it!
Jackson and his buddy Cash admiring their tropies.
Best buds! Next sport...basketball! We shall see if he enjoys this sport as much as his momma did!
This week was Jackon's Thanksgiving celebration. They made Indian costumes out of pillow cases and couldn't have been cuter. They then put on a little musical performance! It was so cute to see Jackson sing and perform. He did such a great job!
These next two pics are for Granddaddy. It seems that both my children have inherited his inability to feel food on their faces! Jackson and Beckett were both eating cheerios and they both had no idea they had one clinging to their faces!
 Where is the cheerio?
Just a little update on my sweet little boy! Beckett is offcially 11 months old and we are on the birthday countdown! He continues to be such an easy going, sweet little boy. He is pulling himself up on everything and cruising on furniture. He waves bye bye and loves to roll a ball. He eats everything I put on his plate and his top two teeth are coming in!
Three little Indians! I cannot believe that next week is Thanksgiving! We hope everyone has a wondeful Thanksgiving and safe travels! We will be spending this Thanksgiving in Kiawah and can't wait to get back to the beach!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had a wonderful Halloween celebration, but as usual, it was quite busy! It all started with a pumpkin carving party at our friend's the Foster's. They have a beautiful home on a horse farm. She decorated the stables and even had the "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" playing for the kids to enjoy. She had swords for the boys, and as you can see, they had so much fun running around the land playing sword fight. It was such a fun way to start off the Holiday!
Beckett even enjoyed himself crawling around all over the place!
Pumpkin carving! The parents ended up doing most of it :)
After dinner and playing, the kids enjoyed their cupcakes in the stables watching the movie.
Beckett even enjoyed the show!
We then finished the night with a bonfire by jack o lantern light!
My little pumpkin with his little pumpkin!
Read for Trunk or Treat at the church!
My sweet Dragon!
Sir Jackson, Castle Nesmith, and the fiercest dragon in all the land....Beckett!
Sweet knights!
 First bit of candy.
The Princess and the Beast :)
We won! For the 4th year in a row, Jackson won the costume contest!
The winners circle....Castle Nesmith, La Parilla, and Rapunzel Payton.
 My boys with their prize
We carved the world's biggest pumpkin! Surprisingly it didn't have a lot of guts, but was very thick! I had to use the biggest knife we had to cut through it.
Next we went to the Halloween Parade on Maple. Since Jackson won best of parade last year in his pirate boat, he got to lead the parade!
Finally, trick or treat time! We met up with our friends and hit the town!
 First house!
 Family photo on Halloween night!
Going up to the house all by himself!
All the loot! We got more candy than I know what to do with! Jackson's bag was getting so heavy, he would run to the stroller, dump it out, and then go get more! We had such a fun Halloween with our two boys! Jackson was the bravest knight and Beckett was the sweetest dragon I have ever seen!
