Well, it is technically fall, but the weather sure doesn't feel like it! Tropical Storm Nate has brought warmer temps and crazy humidity. That hasn't stopped us from doing all things fall though! Football has started for Beckett and Jackson continues with soccer, lacrosse, baseball, tennis, and running club. I don't have any pics from last weekends games, but Jackson is certainly a stud in Lacrosse and Soccer. He single handedly won the lacrosee game by scoring 3 out of the 4 goals and had more defensive steals than I could count! After sweating and running his little heart out in that game, he jumped right into his soccer game. We could tell he was tired, but that didn't stop him from scoring what should have been the winning goal! It was a great goal from a corner kick, but the ref said he was off sides. Boo! That game ended in a tie. It was then back to play in the 2nd lacrosse game. By this time, he was certainly out of steam, but he still played hard. I really don't know how he was able to even stand after all that running. It must be the running club that is helping him stay in shape! Last weekend they had an extra run and Jackson and I ran almost 6 miles together. Super impressed with his stamina! I have always wanted to see Cirque du Soleil, so I bought tickets spontaneously and we went! It was amazing! The kids loved it!
We went with our friends the McDonalds. They had a contortionist that could do things with his body that should not be possible. Beckett was mesmerized and called him the gummy man.
Beckett had his first Fuse football game.
Here they are practicing catching. Beckett LOVES football and couldn't wait to football started. He kept asking me when he would get to play.
Beckett going for a touchdown!
He did it! Touchdown Beckett! He also had 3 our of 4 of the downs to stop the other team from scoring!
Guess who is going to be the first all girl dance team for Dancing with the Stars Marietta? We will be performing at the Strand in January. So excited!
Jackson got his medal during assembly for hitting the 25 mile mark.
He was super proud!
It is really sweet how they have let the preK kids join the club. Beckett was super excited to get his shirt. Once he saw that he could get a medal, his level of motivation sky rocketed!
Annual trip to Burt's pumpkin patch!
My big boys....
Family shot!
We went with the Konop's this year and had a great time. It never ceases to amaze me that even though Jackson and Aidan don't get to see each other as much anymore, they hop right back in as if they saw each other everyday. Such a sweet friendship.
My sweet Beckett picking out his pumpkin.
Farmer Beckett!
Crazy boys.
We had to go on the hay ride. The kids may be outgrowing this a bit as when we asked them if they had fun, they said it was kinda boring.
Tropical storm Nate brought a lot of rain so we decided to head to the College Football Hall of Fame. This was our first time and we had a blast!
They had an interactive area where you could try to throw a touchdown into a basket and kick a field goal. Jackson was very close but didn't make it. Don't worry. Mommy tried and nailed it!
They then had an area where you ran through a little obstacle course and then dove to catch the pass.
Running through the defense..
Pass is complete!
Beckett's turn!
Running super fast! He must have done this 30 times. He could catch the short pass, so the guy started to try to throw him a long pass. He would come so close! He kept trying over and over and over....he loved it!
Jackson taking his turn as a sports announcer.
Virtual reality which is right up Beckett's alley!
