Spring Break with Cousins!

Rosemary beach with cousins. It just doesn't get much better than that! When you see the kids faces in all the pictures you can see that they had an absolute blast! The weather started out a little chilly but it only rained one day. The pool at our house was heated so the kids were still able to swim every day. We spent our mornings at the beach, afternoons swimming, ate dinner, and then finished off the night with the sugar shak and running on the greens. Mary, James, and Jackson all slept in a bunkroom and the first night there was a lot of talking and giggling, but each night they got better. These kids were nonstop from the time they woke up until they went to bed, so by the end of the trip they were exhausted! I know there are a lot of pictures on this post, but there were so many sweet memories that I just had to include! This first picture is the kids testing out the water. I don't think they were expecting it to be as cold as it was!!

Beckett felt the cold water once and that was it! He would say "No cold water!" He absolutley loved playing in the sand with all the sand toys. Still when he wakes up he says "I go to beach" He loved it!

The kids loved to get buried in the sand! If you look closely at Jackson's lips, they are blue :)

Daddy with the babies :)

The kids got buried to look like a mermaid and 3 mermen

We were so excited to get to visit with Cortney, Scooter, and sweet Gracyn while we were there. They all met us for pizza to celebrate Uncle Brad's birthday! I think Beckett was a little too rough with Gracyn on this toy!!
We spent our evenings running around on the greens. The kids played soccer, red light green light, mother may I, and had multiple races.
Jumping through noodles. The kids loved this game! Greg held up two noodles and the kids would try to jump or dive in between them.

Jackson going for a dive!

Beckett had to try it as well. His was definitely more of a fall than a jump :) Beckett really surprised us with the pool. Last year he really didn't want anything to do with the water, but this year he couldn't get enough! I think I am going to have 2 fishes this summer in our pool! Beckett is also ready for swim lessons. We took his floatie off the last day and he could actually swim a little!! It was amazing!!

Sunny day at the beach! It was still a little chilly, but the sun was shining!

Jackson loves to play soccer just like his daddy! Beckett loves to chase Jackson and try to get the ball.

I got it!

Running on the boardwalk!

The 2 babies decided to try to build their own sandcastle :)

Oh the hole....how much entertainment you provided! The kids loved to dump water in it, climb in it, etc.

Sweet cousins :)

Trying to relax on the float

Could they be any cuter?

Family pic! Such a wonderful vacation!!

I just love this picture. It really shows the joy on everyone's faces. It was so nice to have so much time together!!

Oh Beckett. I am not sure why, but he decided to start dragging his head in the sand. I think he liked the trail that it was making, but I am really not sure....

Checking out the waves. This day at the beach it was much warmer and they were deciding if they would get in and try to go to the sandbar.

They went for it! It was cold but they got there :)

Beckett loves to  play any game with a ball! They were bouncing the ball on the edge of the hole and trying to catch it.

Time to head to the donut truck! Jackson, Mary, and James rode their bikes and the babies strolled. The kids all did great on their bikes. They rode to the beach everyday, the playground, and the sugar shak every night. They loved it!

Jackson and Mary are off! I had to run to keep up with them but I was so proud of how well they would stop at streets and look both ways. They are growing up too fast!!

Donut time!

Somebody loved his chocolate donut!

Time to burn off all that sugar!

After the donus, we headed to the park. The zipline was a big hit!

Beckett loved the seesaw

Running up with the mountain!

It was an easy climb for these 3!

Not so easy for Beckett....he got stuck and needed some rescuing

Each day got warmer and warmer so the kids decided to head out to the sandbar.

All week Mary had been asking to go on a boat, so the last day we decided to rent one. Brad and I took Mary and Jackson first. All was well until we capsized. The kids were screaming and terrified! Once we got back to shore but kids said they would not go on a boat again. Somehow, daddy convinced Jackson to go again with him and Brad and said they would not dump over again. Well they made it almost to shore before they flipped again. I think Jackson must have realized after the first flipping that he would be fine because the second time didn't seem to bother him.

We conquered the boat!

Last night at the sugar shak! The kids each were able to pick out 5 candies and they we headed to the green to run around.

Delicious!

Beckett giving Ben a kiss. What a perfect way to end a perfect vacation. Such great memories for both the kids and adults. As soon as we left, Jackson was all ready asking when we could go back :)
