Beckett's special day!

What a special day for my little boy! Sweet Beckett was baptized on July 22. We feel so blessed to have been able to share this special moment with family friends. Joe, Jonathon, Pebo, and Grandaddy were able to make the trip from Memphis and Noni and Grandaddy came in from Kiawah. Beckett did absolutely beautifully during the baptism! As soon as Dr. Mathews sprinkled the water on his forehead, he lifted his arms up and down. Dr. Mathews said he was the first baby that has ever cheered for his own baptism! After the baptism, they carried him down the aisle so the congregation could see him. He just looked back and forth and smiled at all the people. It was so sweet! After the baptism, we celebrated with family and friends with brunch at the country club. It was our first event that we had there and could not have been more perfect! The food was delicious, we had our own private room, and we even had a balcony where the kids could run off some energy! The best part was I didn't have to clean up afterwards!

 For whatever reason, Jackson was not in the mood to take any pictures. I love how Beckett is looking down on his sulking brother.

 Of course, we had to have the same cross cake that Jackson had! No favorites in this family ;)!!

Thank goodness I made those cookies because they were gone before brunch even started!
