Happy 2nd birthday Jackson!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackson! Jackson had a wonderful birthday weekend....and I mean weekend! It started off with a pizza party on Friday night with Great Granddaddy, Peebo, Glo, Aunt Kiera, Uncle Brad, Mary, and Baby James. Jackson really got into opening his presents this year and kept saying "Happy Day!" It was too cute! I can only imagine how much fun Christmas is going to be next week! Then, Saturday, Noni and Grandaddy came into town so we had another happy day! Finally, on Sunday, we had his kids party at Champion Kids. We had the best time and we were so happy that so many of Jackson's friends were able to make the party despite it being so close to Christmas. There were a lot of pictures from the weekend so I tried to condense as much as I could. This first picture is Peebo showing Jackson his presents and Elmo balloon. As you will soon see, this year was the year of Elmo, so we had an Elmo themed extravaganza!

Jackson loves his Great Granddaddy! Thank you Great Granddaddy for putting together all my toys! I miss you!!

Jackson and Mary opening up his presents. It was so fun to see them actually opening presents. Jackson kept saying OOOOH everytime he opened one.

Jackson's first birthday cake. Elmo of course. Jackson actually was able to blow out all his candles!

I love icing!

Since starting preschool, Jackson has really gotten into art. Maybe a future Picasso?

Granny Cindy sent Jackson this delicious Thomas the Train edible arrangement. Heis a big fruit fan so he loved it!

Chocolate dipped strawberries are delicious!

Jackson making his way down the obstacle course at Champion Kids.

Parachute time!

The King for the Day!

No Elmo party would be complete without a visit from the furry red monster himself. We actually did a dry run of Elmo the Friday before his party and I decided to play Elmo. Well, Mary and Jackson loved it, but it wasn't two seconds into it that Jackson yelled "Mommy!" I couldn't believe he knew it was me! Brad was so kind enough to do the part for the party and did an excellent job. The kids loved him! Thanks Uncle Brad!!

Hugs for Elmo!

Elmo cupcakes!

Tearing through the presents.

Jackson is so serious with his trains. He loves trains!!
Thank you so much to Great Granddaddy, Peebo, Glo, Noni, and Granddaddy for making the trip to make Jackson's special day even more special. We love you all so much. To all the familyand friends that weren't able to make the trip, thank you so much for all your gifts. Jackson is really a blessed little boy to be loved by so many. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
