20 weeks!

I can't believe that Jackson is now 20 weeks old! He continues to amaze me each day. It seems like everyday he has a new trick. He still loves to stick his tongue out and blow bubbles, but his latest trick is he loves to grab his feet. As soon as he gets into the bumbo, he goes after his feet. He even trys to get them in his mouth! We had another week of firsts. We have moved on to oatmeal, and Jackson seems to enjoy that more than the rice cereal, but he still is not quite sure about this eating thing. He intensely watches me as I eat, but then when I go to feed him, he trys to blow bubbles and spits the food all over the place. We are going to continue working on it daily. Jackson has also graduated to the floppy seat! He now can sit in shopping carts and high chairs at restaurants. Not only does that give mommy's back a break because I don't have to shop with him in the baby bjorn, but he is also able to interact with us while we eat instead of sitting in his carseat! It so much more fun!! Here are some pics from the week!

Jackson loves to give Emma kisses. I just love his new baseball hat.

Jackson sitting like a big boy in the high chair at Panera. He had so much fun watching mommy and daddy eat.

Jackson trying to eat his first apple.

As you can see Jackson is still putting everything in his mouth!

We have quickly learned that the best toys are free! Jackson loves to play with napkins and paper.

First ride in the shopping cart at Home Depot! Jackson was letting daddy know which brand of fertilizer was the best.
This weekend we went to the outlets with Brad, Kiera, and Mary. The boys were brave and took the babies while Kiera and I went shopping. As you can see, Jackson still does not like to spend a lot of time in the stroller and would much rather be in the baby bjorn.
It is hard to tell in this picture, but now during tummy time Jackson will move his arms and legs almost like he is swimming. He lifts his entire body off the ground!
Jackson's latest toy to try to keep him interested during feeding time. It attaches to the tray, but he has already figured out how to pull it off, so it often ends up in his mouth much more often than the oatmeal does.
