Big Sister Emma

Big sister Emma has been patiently awaiting Jackson's arrival. She can hardly contain her excitement!

Jackson's room

This weekend Greg and I put up his shelf and bought some picture frames for his first photos. The picture frame on the right is going to be for his first foot print. We are going to put another shelf above that one, and the ultimate plan is put up crown molding and paint stripes on the wall his crib will be on. Excitingly, we found out this week that his furniture will be in early and should all arrive in 1 1/2 weeks!

Jackson's room

The whole family pitched in getting Jackson's room together. Even Great Grandpa Frank helped by putting up his curtain rod and valance.

Jackson's room

The weekend of October 11, Kiera, my sister in law, threw me a beautiful shower. Jackson received a lot of nice things! That was also the weekend we started working on his room. Uncle Brad, Papa Chuck and Greg worked hard to paint Jackson's room blue. Then Great Aunt Gloria, Noni Madeline, Aunt Sarah, Aunt Rachel, and Grandma Cindy painstakingly put up his name. It was not an easy project, but well worth it in the end! Aunt Sarah almost drove herself crazy trying to make the perfect bow! In the end, Greg had to come to the rescue and help us ladies out.

33 Weeks

I am currently in my 33rd week. I am feeling pretty good except for terrible heartburn. If the old wives tale that heartburn means your baby will have a lot of hair is accurate, Jackson is going to arrive covered from head to toe! Tums and milk have become my two best friends over the last 8 months. I am also having a little more trouble getting comfortable at night and find myself tossing and turning from one side to the next all night long. Only 7 more weeks to go!
